Click on the banner above or this text to go to the photo galleries. I'm currently reposting all of my race photos taken since 2002. If there is a race gallery you would like to look at that still has the Archive image, send me an e-mail with the race name and date and I will upload that set of photos ASAP.

Joseph Tokarski at the AT&T Austin Downtown Crit, June 16, 2007, surrounded by pro's, and keeping up with them in his Junior Gears. Click on the photo to go to Joseph's Blog.

This site is dedicated to my 18 year old son Joseph, an avid cyclist who started racing road and track at age 10. Joseph competed in 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004 Junior Track Nationals winning a Bronze Medal in the 2001 Track Omnium JM10-12. He's also competed in 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007 Junior Road Nationals with a 5th place finish in the 2005 JRN road race. He's won numerous gold medals in Texas Time Trial, Track, and Road Racing Championships. Joseph was the 2002 Texas Bicycle Racing Association Rider of the Year. He started mountain bike racing fall 03 and moved up to Sport in Spring 04, and placed 1st overall in the 2005 Texas Mountain Bike Racing Association Spring Championship Series Sport 15-16 Category, then upgrading to Jr-X. Joseph raced for Team Texas in the 8 stage 2006 Tour de l'Abitibi in Va-dor Quebec, and for Team Hotel San Jose as team captain in the 2007 Tour de l'Abitibi. He finished 1st in the 2007 U35 B race at Cyclocross Nationals, and is now racing Men's A. He recently upgraded to Cat 2 on the road and is currently the only Junior Cat 2 in Texas, keeping up with the Pros in Junior gears. Joseph's racing is the main reason I'm at races with my camera.

Some comments copied from e-mails received:

You are a really great photographer. The contrast between your work and most others is quite striking. Maybe at the level of Graham Watson, you would seem more in your own league, but here at venues like Junior Nationals you are far and away the best photographer (especially of drama and action photos).

We received the photos of Steven cycling at the nationals. They were great...We'd like to order two 13x19 vertical photos of Steven. We are putting one in my office and the other at home.

I love those photos, you have so many of all the girls. You definitely have a great start to a side business if you can squeeze it in with all your other activities. And to think I knew you when you were just a Dad, not the famous photographer!

This is a great selection of pictures which captures the spirit of the whole race. I can't believe you even got the crash which was the decisive moment in the whole race (it broke up the chase completely).

Your website has outstanding photos! I would like some full resolution copies after you get caught up. These are the best pics I've seen.

These are absolutely great photos. Did you take all these pictures, what camera and lens did you use? I assume you used a digital camera, although I think the quality of these photos are better than the digital photos I've seen from photographers and the events I participate in. Thanks for sharing them, I may use several for screen savers.

Got the CD today - the pics look great and the slideshow works - THANKS!!!

That picture from the Columbus Crit at the front of your website.......Incredible....Look out Graham Watson.

I love your shots. You seem to be able to capture the person's soul right in their face. It's really raw and unique. Truly reflects a gift.
